Hello! Thank you for booking to come eat and drink with us... below are our Terms & Conditions for booking.
The River Terrace is an independent café / restaurant relying upon bookings being honoured by our guests or sufficient notice being given of any required changes to reservations. For tables of 1-5 guests we request 24 hours’ notice of cancellation or amendment. For tables with 6 or more diners we require 48 hours’ notice of cancellation or amendment. For all reservations, we require your debit/credit card details. These will be held in a secure PCI-DSS compliant vault. A charge of £10 per person will be made if these cancellation or amendment terms are not met or a charge of £25 per person will be made if you fail to show up to your reserved table or provide less than 12 hours' notice of cancellation.
We use both our terrace, downstairs and upstairs restaurant for reservations depending on the tables we have that day and the weather. Please expect to be seated in either area. Let us know at time of booking if you would prefer to be seated downstairs due to accessibility issues, and please note our toilets are on the first floor. If you have given us your preference to sit on our terrace, we will always do our best to honour your request. We allow well-behaved dogs on our terrace area.
If you cannot find your preferred time, it is because that time slot is already full. If your party size is larger than 8 people, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll facilitate your booking there.
We do not take bookings for drinks and cakes, but welcome walk ins and leave plenty of tables available for this purpose on a first-come-first-served basis. If you have booked a table with us and are only having drinks and cakes, a £10 charge will be added per person to your final bill.
Evenings are back for the 15th and 16th of July! Tables are limited, so we suggest booking to avoid disappointment.
